when two humans meet
When two humans meet
Face finds face
Eyes see eyes
Eyes
See
Eyes
Nose
Lips
Cheeks
Dimples
Smile
Lines
Are Crossed
In the sky
There are stars
In their eyes
There are stars
They can’t look away
The mutual blinding
Is binding
They are locked in a trance
In space the stars dance
The two become a microcosm all their own
Learning each others’ languages
Then generating a new one
Becoming fluent
In one another
Their dialogue
A delicate dance
A cordial caress
Hands sweep
Hands reach
Thoughts creep
In
Two
Three
Four
Out
Two
Three
More
Both confining the quiet wish
That this music never ends
So they can dance until the end of
Time
Does Not Exist
A star lives for billions of years
So how can one
Neglect a
Galactic glance
They are not immune
To the magnetic pull of
The Earth
They are strong
But the universe
Is stronger
The happiest of accidents
The rightest of wrongs
When two humans meet
And their eyes glimmer with the specks of stars
That glare so bright
They can’t look away
They know
No amount of stargazing or surveying
Will crack the cosmos
Give the astrologers a go
But as for them
Let all they understand be
This–
