Hello!!

I have just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hofstra University with a BFA degree in Theatre Arts (Performance Concentration) and an English minor! In my senior year, I was fortunate enough to be awarded the Nathalie Ackerman Endowed Theater Arts Scholarship; for excellence in academics, theater performance, and writing, as well as the Mascot Award; for my work as Hofstra's mascot from 2019 to 2022 with our Campus Recreation team. I am very grateful for my time at Hofstra and am incredibly proud of everything I was able to achieve there, especially with the majority of my collegiate experience being hindered by Covid. Nonetheless, throughout these past four years, I have had the opportunity to challenge myself and explore a variety of theatrical avenues. Growing up, I did a lot of musical theater, as my passion for the arts began with seeing my first Broadway show: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, at age 5. However, thanks to my time in college, I have found many new artistic and dramatic interests!

 

I am inspired by movement-based and developmental projects, especially those that include collaborating with my fellow artists and friends. Typically in my theatrical work, I have fun playing larger, more whimsical characters but have also enjoyed the chance to take on more intimate, humane roles where I can show a bit of my sentimental side. Most recently at Hofstra, I worked on a production of Orlando by Sarah Ruhl, which was a unique opportunity that allowed me to combine my interests in theater and poetry. I love writing poetry, as well as skits, short plays, and more academic essays.

Besides theater and writing, I also find playing guitar to be a gratifying artistic outlet. Music has always been an important part of my life. I am a Pisces, so I thrive on creativity and can get a little emotional... what can I say? 

I just have a big heart!

I like to work hard and play hard! I love games, and while I can get a little competitive, it's all in good fun. I appreciate road trips and sunsets, the beach, and iced chai tea lattes. 

​

My friends tease me for being loud, but I'm just energetic and trying to keep spirits high! I strive to make others laugh and am known to make puns and "dad jokes."
